Here's some things that you might be interested in knowing about our church:
Our church services will be full and energetic with people coming from all ethnic and economic backgrounds. We have lots of people from Whiteman Air Force Base, The University of Central Missouri, as well as the surrounding communities. One of our highest priorities is creating community. You can get to know people if you want to! We have numerous small groups where you can get connected. Check out the Connect with Others page and our Care Ministry page to see how to get involved.
Our worship services sometimes surprise people. We are blessed with a dynamic pastor who has a unique style and the ability to make you laugh, but still bring home God’s important truths for our lives. You can get a sneak peek by listening to a podcast. We have a contemporary worship style led by a band that utilizes modern praise songs & hymns, drama, video and more. You may choose to worship at either of our Sunday services in our main worship center or our more intimate video venue we call the Apex.
Children are important to us. We work hard to have a safe environment that allows kids to have lots of fun. God has blessed us with a state-of-the-art children’s building called the KidsZone. We do the very best we can to assure your children are safe and have a great experience.
We have a brand new Student Pastor. Our student life ministry is excited to have KC Maddox join us at FBC. We know students and parents will really enjoy getting to know KC and his wife, Kinsey. KC wants to create a student life ministry that focuses on teaching God’s Word, living in Christ, and having fun with students.
