Core Beliefs

Our Belief About God

There is only one true and living God who is the Creator and Ruler of the universe. He has existed for all eternity and reveals Himself to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and are one God.

Our Belief About Jesus

Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He lived a sinless human life and offered Himself as the perfect sacrifice for our sins by dying on the cross. He arose from the dead and will return again to earth to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

Our Belief About The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is equal with the Father and the Son as God. He lives in every Christian from the moment of salvation and provides the Christian with power for living.

Our Belief About Man

Man is made in the image of God but has been marred and separated from God by sin. God loves mankind more than anything and offers salvation to all through Jesus Christ.

Our Belief About Salvation

Salvation is the gift of God's grace to man. It is only through Jesus Christ that man can have a personal relationship with God.

Our Belief About The Bible

The Bible is God's Word written by human authors under the inspiration of God's Holy Spirit. It is the supreme source of truth without any mixture of error in the original manuscripts.

Our Belief About The Church

The church is the Body of Christ in the world today. Its purpose is to connect people to God through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and to connect each member in spiritual growth and ministry.

Relational Evangelism

We believe that God's message of forgiveness through Christ is most effectively conveyed within the context of personal relationships.

Relevant Communication

We seek to be flexible and willing to change in order to maximize our effectiveness in ministry. We will use the arts, music, video, multimedia, drama and any other culturally relevant medium to share God's love.

Spiritual Transformation

We believe that followers of Christ should manifest authenticity and strive for continuous spiritual growth. The pursuit of full devotion to Christ and His cause should be normal for every Believer.

Authentic Community

We believe authenticity, acceptance and truth-telling create the atmosphere where people can become whole. There is no need to pretend we are better or worse than we really are, but as we accept each other and speak the truth in love to one another, we can help each other grow into whole people.

Strategic Service

We believe that our spiritual gifts have maximum impact when exercised in support of our strategy and that we are called to be a unified community of servants.

We believe the church is to be an active agent of change in society by caring for and serving those who are poor, oppressed or marginalized.

Generous Giving

We believe that God blesses us with resources so that we can be used by Him to bless other people.  Learning how to be an extravagant giver rather than a selfish consumer is a major step of growth in our walk with Jesus.

Healthy Living

We believe a healthy lifestyle involves loving your family, caring for your body, seeking wisdom and walking with God.
