Cooking on a Budget Around the World Cafe 56 in KidsZone (exception: July 24 to be held in main FBC Building Kitchen) August 21 Contact: Melissa Pogue In this series of classes, we'll discuss the basics to building healthy, delicious menus within a budget while sampling an array of worldwide cuisine. We'll take a look at how different cultures prepare food and learn that by applying some of their techniques and cooking styles we can create original, nourishing, and inexpensive meals. Indian food is unique, delicious and very healthful in that they incorporate many vegetables and grains. We'll prepare a basic chicken curry served with rice and a vegetable. We'll look at the different spices and flavors used and as always, you'll be sent with more recipes to try at home.
