In this series of classes, we'll discuss the basics to building healthy, delicious menus within a budget while sampling an array of worldwide cuisine. We'll take a look at how different cultures prepare food and learn that by applying some of their techniques and cooking styles we can create original, nourishing, and inexpensive meals. Attend one class or all 5! A $3 donation to cover food expenses will be collected at each class.

August 21: India
In this class we'll explore one of my favorite types of food to cook: the cuisine of India. Indian food is unique, delicious and very healthful in that they incorporate many vegetables and grains. We'll prepare a basic chicken curry served with rice and a vegetable. We'll look at the different spices and flavors used and as always, you'll be sent with more recipes to try at home.
